You have just purchased the latest in coin magic. The magnetic coin you hold in your hand owes its existence to the latest in space age magnetic material plus precision crafts-manship. The half dollar consists of a shell half dollar and an insert that shows a half dollar on one side and a British penny on the other. Inside this double faced coin is a powerful magnet. The shell coin has a piece of very thin steel inside it so that the coins when nested will hold together. To separate them hold coin by the edges and shake out the insert. There are two extra British pennies. One of the British pennys is unprepared except that it has been reduced in size slightly to fit loosely in the shell. The other has a steel insert so it will be attracted by the magnetic coin.

Effect: Here is just a sample: A drinking glass is held in a horizontal position and two coins are set inside: an English Penny and a Half Dollar. The glass is slowly tipped up causing the coins to slide towards the bottom. When they reach the bottom, the Penny penetrates through the glass and falls onto the table leaving just the Half Dollar in the glass.

Effect No. 2 A handkerchief covers the mouth of a drinking glass. Two coins are resting on the handkerchief. As they are picked up, one of the coins passes through the handkerchief and drops into the glass. Not one unnatural move from start to finish.
